Value is subjective. What a property is worth to one person is different to another. The idea that a real estate agent 'knows exactly what a property is worth' is ludicrous. Sure we give an appraisal to estimate a figure that is a fair expectation, but once the marketing starts, an attitude of acheiving the very best result, is the right attitude. After all there is a lot at stake. The wrong attitude can unknowingly cost the unsupecting seller tens of thousands of dollars, especially in a rising market.

I  believe.....

  • the first offer is not necessariy your best offer
  • there are many ways to sell a property, some better than others. Your goals are what counts.
  • Competition is key
